TRAINING IN ITALY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS


Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called Volunteers – Give more and Get the Futurewhich will take place in 03rd until 10th June 2013 in Nicolosi (Sicily), Italy.

Volunteers – Give more and Get the Future! is a training course for youth leaders who work and are willing to continue working with European voluntary service action. The project will be held in Sicily and its main topic is based in voluntarism, its promotion to youngsters, exchanging of experiences and improving competencies of participants while dealing with EVS projects. The idea of this project is to also create an opportunity for trainers, youth workers, SO-HO mentors (and future mentors) from different countries from SEE and EU and with different backgrounds to come together in Italy and use the opportunity to meet and exchange their experiences discussing for different positive and negative situation that are created while working with EVS.

This Training Course aims therefore also at giving the participants knowledge, skills and developing their attitudes towards future work with partner countries from SEE, both in Balkans and in Programme Countries. Also, it aims at the establishment of personal contacts between participants and potential sending/hosting partners for European Voluntary Service.

This event will bring together 32 participants from European Union Member states and South East Europe countries. The event will be held in English. There is 1 vacancy available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN GEORGIA - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS


Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called When Social Meet Rightswhich will take place in 24th until 31st May 2013 in Kobuleti, Georgia.

The training course When Social Meet Rights is a 6 days Training Course, which was developed as a module for youth workers/trainers to help them to answer their questions concerning the (Social) rights issues and its implementation in their communities. Have the European Social Charter as base and background; we will approach the idea of Social Rights in different levels: Housing, Education, Health, Employment, Non-Discrimination, Legal and Social Protection and Movement of Persons. The idea is to support the professional development of young activists and to raise the quality of their projects concerning Social Rights in disadvantage communities.

We will work group discussions, studycase, examples and community in practice. Together, we will be working on improving the “good exmaples” on how to motivate youngsters aware and active on their community and beyond.

This event will bring together 30 participants from European Member states and Eastern European and Caucasus countries. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

EXCHANGE IN ITALY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS


Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called Eurocycle for Environmentwhich will take place in 20th until 28th June 2013 in Scurcola Marsicana, Italy.

How we treat in the Europe the natural environment protection areas in a sustainable way? Are we aware how to protect the environmental areas in our communities? What kind of experiences and ideas can be shared, to enhance environment protection and recycling and also increase young people's attention to ecosystems and sustainable natural lifestyles?

In EuroCycle for Environment we intend explore the local natural environment in a natural and sustainable way of life. We will discover the exciting world of recycled materials and create new old things!

This youth exchange wants to give a push to the cooperation with others countries by offering the opportunity to a youth group   and youth leaders to discover other culture and work together.

As an output, the youth exchange aims to improve the quality of future projects and establishing partnerships in the frame of the Youth in Action Programme and to develop common guidelines on environment, Training Course and Youth Initiatives.

This Exchange will bring together 30 participants from Portugal, Poland, France, Estonia and Italy. The exchange will be held in English. There are 5 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old and maximum 25 years old.

The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN GEORGIA - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS


Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called Active Citizens of Todaywhich will take place in 2nd until 10th May 2013 in Kobuleti, Georgia.

The term European citizenship has recently become a buzz word. Everyone speaks about it, but no one really knows what does it mean and people keep asking: Is it just about politics? Is European citizenship a V.I.P. club? Where does it start and end? How can put it to our projects? How can we make it concrete and practical?

ACT is a training course, which was developed as a module for youth workers/trainers to help them to answer their questions concerning the (European) citizenship issues. We will approach the idea of citizenship on three different levels: locally, nationally and in the European context. We will work on cases, examples and Europe in practice. Together, we will be working on improving the methods on how to motivate youngsters for participation in their community and beyond.

This event will bring together 24 participants from Estonia, Georgia, Poland, Finland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Macedonia. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
