TRAINING COURSE IN AUSTRIA - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called Thanks but No Tanks” which will take place from 27th August until 3rd September 2017 in VELDEN AM WÖRTHERSEE, Austria

The overall aim of the training is to create a deeper understanding of the civil society actors and the role they have in our nations. To approach this topic we will start with exploring the meaning of the words conflict, youth movement, peace etc. and at the same time we will follow like an itinerary from historical social movements for democracy and justice, movements against discrimination and racism and we will explore present developments in the different regions, movements born during the economic crisis in Europe and other important actors around the world and especially Europe.

AIM:
TNT will give competence and methods to participants to analyze the social conflicts, will teach them how to act wisely, and being active leaders in the civil society using non-violent communication

OBJECTIVES:

§ Give to participants the tools and competences to understand what civil society is and what is its role in our own societies;
§ Familiarize the participants with concepts and approaches of non violent actions i.e. how to use it best and adapt it to local contexts and realities in order to promote peace building;
§ Equip the participants with skills to act in order to fulfill their goals;
§ Empower the young people to act wisely in conflicts on individual as well as societal levels;
§ Review and enhance participants’ competences (knowledge, skills, attitudes) in working as multipliers, and activists on peace building using non formal education tools;
§ Enable participants to develop activities and campaigns for multipliers in conflict transformation and non-violent actions, at international, national or local level

This event will bring together 30 participants from Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and United Kingdom. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old and involved on the youth field.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 245 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING COURSE IN SPAIN - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called EVS MID” which will take place from 5th until 11th October 2017 in Malaga, Spain.

The basic idea of this project is to provide an opportunity for youth workers, SO-HO mentors (and future mentors) from countries other than the EU and the EEA and with diverse backgrounds to meet in Málaga and use the opportunity to exchange their experiences, discuss the various positive and negative situations that are created as part of the EVS.

This training course aims therefore to give participants the knowledge, skills and attitudes to develop the work in the EVS with partner countries. In addition, the project aims at the creation of personal contacts between participants and potential sending organizations and hosting partner for the European Voluntary Service.

Youth workers will meet with the aim of improving their skills and competences to implement EVS projects and to increase their network of partnership in EVS.

The objectives of #EVS Mid are:
• To train youth workers and leaders who work with young people with fewer opportunities (socio-economic, educational, cultural, religious, geographical, disability, sexual orientation and of any gender) in order to insert them in the context of international volunteering;
• provide new tools for youth workers and members of partner organizations on working with the EVS;
• Develop the skills of youth workers on the specific working environment of EVS;
• to meet and work with people from different EU and EEA countries to share and exchange experiences, opinions and values, to learn from each other and build new initiatives for the future;
• Increase the visibility of the Erasmus program + and the quality of EVS projects;

This event will bring together 22 participants from Serbia, Georgia, Macedonia, Armenia, Poland, Romania, Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Italy, Estonia, Moldova, Ukraine and Spain. The event will be held in English. There is 1 vacancy available and participants should have minimum 18 years old and involved on the youth field.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 505 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING COURSE IN ESTONIA - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a project called “Thanks but No Tanks” a training course that which will take place from 12th until 19th September 2017 in Suure-Jaani, Estonia. 

The overall aim of the training is to create a deeper understanding of the civil society actors and the role they have in our nations. To approach this topic we will start with exploring the meaning of the words conflict, youth movement, peace etc. and at the same time we will follow like an itinerary from historical social movements for democracy and justice, movements against discrimination and racism and we will explore present developments in the different regions, movements born during the economical crisis in Europe and other important actors around the world and especially Europe.

Aim:

There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old and involved on the youth field.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with the travel costs (in a maximum amount of 30 euros).. There will be a participation fee of 25 Euros.
