TRAINING TO SICILY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!!!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “MIGRATION HIGHWAYS: Everlasting Phenomena” which will take place in 09^th until 16^th September 2015 in Nicolosi - Sicily, Italy.

MIGRATION HIGWAYS: Everlasting Phenomena" is a training course designed to meet the challenges and opportunities related to migration and to international mobility in Europe. It will analyze causes and effects of migration, mentioning the different components that motivate young people to emigrate. The title itself describes various aspects of migration that we will discuss (the major roads, the highways): analyzing  causes and effects of brain drain, labor, study and experience migration, migration driven by poverty and injury of fundamental and social rights, and through a structured program of activities based on Non Formal Education, this TC aims to develop in participants methods and resources to work closely with international migration and mobility in Europe, and what these phenomena entail locally.

Solidarity, tolerance and integration are fundamental values that this TC will promote. Activities will focus on the principles of intercultural dialogue and social inclusion, in both European and global perspective. The TC aims to equip participants with tools to spread these values among young people, to contribute to the promotion of a more open, tolerant environment which offers the same opportunities to everyone. The course will help to improve the skills and abilities of young people, including those with fewer opportunities, improving the quality of youth work, social inclusion, base and cross skills of youth workers, intercultural awareness, linguistic and cultural diversity and to increase cooperation and capacity building of NGOs.The TC will develop, therefore, the skills of the participants in the work with migration and mobility, promoting debates and actions on European citizenship and the universal character of the EU's fundamental values, such as democracy, the rule of law and human rights and their potential to alleviate the difficulties of migration, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and integration of migrants in Europe.

This event will bring together 36 participants from Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Turkey and Italy. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 30 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 335 euros . There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN GERMANY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!!!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Time to ACT” which will take place in 22^nd until 30^th September 2015 in Hamburg, Germany.

The term European citizenship has recently become a buzz word. Everyone speaks about it, but no one really knows what does it mean and people keep asking: Is it just about politics? Is European citizenship a V.I.P. club?  Where does it start and end? How can put it to our projects? How can we make it concrete and practical?

Time to ACT is a training course, which was developed as a module for youth workers/trainers to help them to answer their questions concerning the (European) citizenship issues. We will approach the idea of citizenship on three different levels: locally, nationally and in the European context. We will work on case, examples and Europe in practice. Together, we will be working on improving the methods on how to motivate youngsters for participation in their community and beyond.

This event will bring together 24 participants from Germany, Estonia, Poland, Italy, Austria and Romania The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 30 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros . There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

VOLUNTEER PLACEMENT IN LISBON! - CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!!!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for volunteer for an European Voluntary Service placement called “A Key to Inclusive Europe” for 12 months, which will take place from 1^st October 2015 to 27^th September 2016 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Hosting Organisation is Associação Qe is a teaching/residential complex for mentally disabled persons over 16, comprising a pedagogical centre (for residents and non residents) and a residential centre (for permanent, temporary or occasional use). Most of students have a moderate mental disability that covers a diverse of syndromes and pathologies, such as Trisomy 21, Trisomy 8, Autism, Borderline, Cornelia de Lange, Microcephaly, among others. Our goal is to maximize the autonomy and the integration of these very special people, by developing their competences through Individual Development Programs.

The Profile of the volunteer: The project " EVS - A Key to an Inclusive Europe " requires that the volunteers must be very human, self-motivated, proactive, creative, with handwork skills, with self-initiative, willing to take on new challenges, very flexible and ready to help in different tasks of the children/young people education and life.

Accomodation: We will provides accommodation in an apartment (with 6/8 volunteers in total), University residence, hostel or hosting family, Casa Europa, multiple bedroom with fully equipped kitchen, toilet, laundry facilities and living room. The costs with electricity, water, gas, TV and Internet are covered by the Coordinating Organization. The volunteers will have towels and bed clothes for the entire period of the project.

Food and Pocket Money: We will provide €245 (every 30 days) to cover costs of food and extra expenses (ex: cleaning materials,) during non-working time.

The Erasmus + Programme will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants (up to 530 euros).

TRAINING IN SICILY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Smiling Europe” which will take place in 03^rd until 09^th September 2015 in Enna - Sicily, Italy.

"Smiling Europe" is a Partnership Building project. It has been meant to foster work and cooperatation in youth field, to be smart and innovative and to give our contribute towards European growth and social cohesion. We have thought that, by sharing experiences and good practices and thanks to the help of professional trainers, we can reach the objective of improving our competences and the quality of job as well as promoting the job carried out by youth workers. The project has also been thought to strengthen our network of organisations and build up new partnerships for further projects within the framework of Erasmus+ programme.

The activities will take place in an hotel based in Enna and they will last for 7 days (included arrival and departure days). During the Seminar different non-formal education methodologies will be used. There will also be sessions related to project drafting and management within the framework of Erasmus+ programme as well as a session on competences recognition trough Youthpass. Free time to better get to know each other is foreseen too.  

This event will bring together 28 participants from Italy, Romania, Croatia, Estonia, Lithuania and Hungary. The event will be held in English. There are 4 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 360 euros . There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN FRANCE - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “LEAD III – A Learning and Development Journey in Leadership” which will take place in 10^th until 17^th September 2015 in Brittany region, France.

The aim of the training course is to provide leadership skills for today’s diverse world. We will be asking participants:

• To reflect on their personal leadership style, values, attitudes and skills in relation to leading in a diverse world.

• To gain a better understanding of working with gender and how to include people with different cultural backgrounds in your team.

• To exchange with other participants the challenges arising from diversity in your own environment and to build a network of exchange.

• To benefit from new knowledge and ideas on how to be more inclusive in their leadership role.

• To return home with new knowledge and ideas on how to be more inclusive in their leadership role with young people

• You will learn more about the funding possibilities of the Erasmus+ programme and a chance to network with European partners.

Our approach is creative, non-formal & participative. We will have a productive and enjoyable week in a dynamic environment.

This event will bring together 19 participants from Ireland, Austria, Estonia, Netherlands, Slovenia, Italy, Hungary, Romania and France. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 30 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 260 euros . There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

VOLUNTEER PROJECT IN PORTUGAL - CALL FOR RESIDENTS IN ESTONIA

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for volunteer for an European Voluntary Service placement called “Grow up Through Volunteering” for 10 months, which will take place from 1^st October 2015 to 31^st July 2016 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Hosting Organisation is Casa Pia de Lisboa (CPL) is a Public Institute under the tutelage of Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity. The mission of CPL is to promote the rights and protection of children and young people, especially those who are in danger or at risk of exclusion, to ensure their full development, through acceptance, education, training and social and professional integration. This project will take place in Centro de Educação e Desenvolvimento (CED) Nossa Senhora da Conceição.

The Profile of the volunteer: The volunteer should be between 18 to 30 years old; proactive, motivated to work in a foster home environment, with sense of responsibility, like to work in a team, flexible, with handwork skills, with communication ability, mature to work with social disadvantaged children and young people.
