Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is
promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “GO ON! Training
course on Outdoor Methods for Inclusion” which
will take place in 10th to
18th May 2014 in Bakuriani, Georgia.
The “GO ON! Training course on outdoor education and
experiential learning methods for inclusion”, will bring young people together to
train them in the use of Outdoor Education and Experiential learning methods in
working with social disadvantaged youth.
The participants will go through an experiential
learning circle in order to get a practical knowledge for themselves so that
they can use it in their daily work with young people. Through this way, they
will work around empowering their skills in using outdoor methodologies and
experiential learning styles, but also to work together, get to know each
other’s culture better and so promote a better understanding between each
other, practicing citizenship at the same time.
Aim of the project: Improving quality of inclusive
youth work by rising trainers’ competences and youth workers to use and know
the limitations of outdoor education and experiential learning methods, as
renewed ways to reach a more diverse and inclusive group of youth.
The event will be held in English. There are 4
vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years
old. The event will gather 32 participants from 8 different countries from EU
and Eastern Europe and Caucasus.
The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of
the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the
participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation
fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
