TRAINING IN ARMENIA - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!!!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “From Conflict 2 Connection – Training for young Peace-Builders” which will take place from 12^th until 19^st August 2016 in Yerevan, Armenia.

The course will be focusing on diversity and conflict transformation and emphatic communication. Seeing diversity as a barrier instead of appreciating its enrichment has been playing a substantial role in both the national and international debates and politics in each of the participating countries for decades or even centuries.

The transformation of the conflicts starts from us: our hearts being in war or in peace, our way of communication. When we grow in peace with ourselves, we can continue to bring the transformation to our surroundings: our interpersonal relations, the way we connect and relate to our families, friends, acquaintances, strangers, communities. All these topics will be brought to attention in the TC.

Getting a better understanding in how we, people, function and what gets us together and keeps us walking the same direction is crucial for youth workers and peace builders of today. This will be done by promoting non-violent approaches leading to actions on peace-building and promotion of Human Rights. Moreover, young leaders will discuss the significant role of youth participation in grass-root peace-building initiatives.

This event will bring together 34 participants from Armenia, Belarus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Italy, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Russian Federation and Ukraine. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 35 year old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 320 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN SWEDEN - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Integration Through Action” which will take place from 25^th September until 02nd October 2016 in Örebro, Sweden.

The training course "Integration Through Action" will gather 27 youth workers from 11 different organizations representing 11 countries from different parts of Europe to train them in using Inter-cultural Education and Experiential Learning as an inclusive tool in youth work, especially while working with disadvantaged groups of young people.

The project aims to give the participants the opportunity to develop practical skills in the facilitation of groups and thereby improving the quality of inclusive youth work using Inter-cultural education and experiential learning as main learning methods.

During the project, we will also be tackling the topic of integration, focusing on experiential and theoretical training, this will involve; being exposed to inter-cultural groups, which will create different theoretical and practical understandings of working in different teams.   

This event will bring together 27 participants from 11 European Countries. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 255 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

YOUTH EXCHANGE IN BELGIUM - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!!!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “Democracy for All” which will take place from 22^nd until 31^st July 2016 in Antwerp, Belgium.

We want to implement this project to make young people more conscious about the topics of democracy, active citizenship and democratic participation in order to enable them to take an active role in solving the problems in their locals.

With the project the topics of democracy, active participation, participation of youth, Erasmus+ youth subjects will be addressed. We want to carry out this project to demonstrate the importance of youth participation and remind that civil society and the projects on youth can also be used as a participation mechanism.

During the youth exchange, non-formal education methods will be used. A heterogeneous group of participants which came from different environments and experiences will be provided, so they will have the chance to learn from each other. The youth exchange will last 10 days and role plays, case studies, group work, visual presentations, collages, simulation games and outdoor activities will be made with participants.

At the end of the project, participants will find a chance to improve their knowledge and skills on the subjects of democracy, active citizenship, civil society and state- individual relation. They are expected to use the knowledge that they gained in this field in the local activities they implement. With these activities they will have local, national and international impacts.

This event will bring together 35 participants from Italy, Estonia, Belgium, Croatia, Turkey, Hungary and Spain. The event will be held in English. There are 5 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 30 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 170 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Feel the Flow -  Explore Yourself as a Trainer” which will take place from 01^st until 09th August 2016 in Yerevan, Armenia.

Many training courses for trainers in the youth field have a specific theme, meaning the focus for the development of competencies comes directly with the aim to equip participants to transmit that theme as a trainer. As a result, many basic but important skills are not covered.

This project will purely focus on being a trainer. It will help you to develop your trainer competencies for your personal development in the youth field and for the development of the

youth field in general. The aim of the project is: to build the competencies of beginning trainers in working with groups of young people in non-formal education.

What can you get out of it?

■■ Build your confidence in working with young people and groups.

■■ Come to better understand your motivation to work in the youth field.

■■ Improve your communication skills, and develop yourself as team member.

■■ Get empowered by becoming aware of your talents and strong aspects of your character as trainer.

■■ Increase your awareness of your body and emotions, and understanding of how this influences the work of a trainer.

This event will bring together 24 participants from Netherlands, Estonia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Romania, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 310 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
