TRAINING IN POLAND - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called Enter the Social Rightswhich will take place in 24th until 31st August 2013 in Poronin, Poland.

The training course Enter the Social Rights is a Training Course, which was developed as a module for youth workers/trainers to help them to answer their questions concerning the (Social) rights issues and its implementation in their communities. Have the European Social Charter as base and background; we will approach the idea of Social Rights in different levels: Housing, Education, Health, Employment, Non-Discrimination, Legal and Social Protection and Movement of Persons. The idea is to support the professional development of young activists and to raise the quality of their projects concerning Social Rights in disadvantage communities.

We will work group discussions, studycase, examples and community in practice. Together, we will be working on improving the “good exmaples” on how to motivate youngsters aware and active on their community and beyond.

This event will bring together 24 participants from Estonia, Poland, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Moldova, Romania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia and Belarus. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

EXCHANGE IN LITHUANIA - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called Know Your Needs!” which will take place in 18th until 25th September 2013 in Ignalina, Lithuania.

One of the main problems in EU now at days is the young worker migration. Young qualifies people from different backgrounds leave their home countries to face uncertainty. In many cases, these young people leave without any proper thoughts about their action or what do they really want from life. The project “Know Your Needs” aims to confront problems facing most of the EU countries, such as emigration, education and youth employment, outlook on democracy by analyzing and identifying the needs of young people. If you know what you want from life, you know what you can do to achieve it.

By using non-formal education methods, the youngsters will be encouraged to look at different situations and identify what needs and will drives young people to make risky decisions. We hope that in the end of the project can say what exactly they want from life and what they can do to make it true. The project will focus on several priority areas were youth will be encourage to think, analyses and eventually decide what their needs are in education, carrier and personal goals.

This Exchange will bring together 24 participants from Estonia, Lithuania, Spain and UK. The exchange will be held in English. There are 6 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

TRAINING IN ARMENIA - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS - URGENT

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called URA – You are EmployAblewhich will take place in 01th until 08th August 2013 in Dilijan, Armenia.

The TC “URA – You are EmployAble” introduces the 3R methodology /Recruitment, Retainment, and Recognition / on promoting volunteerism first as a learning process and later how the learning can be turned into an employability component. During the TC, the participants will acquire knowledge, skills and tools on the application of the 3R for voluntary work; how to make the learning part of volunteering more tracked, how to apply voluntary experience for increasing employment opportunities /attitude, skill competence, networking/, share best practices on volunteering in different European countries, and finally build partnership among civil society organizations from the Programme and Neighboring Partner countries concerning volunteering and youth employability.

This event will bring together 24 participants from European Member states and Eastern European and Caucasus countries. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
