EXCHANGE IN TURKEY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called Let’s Stop the Move which will take place in 23rd until 31st January 2015 in Sivas, Turkey.

Our main aim is to gather young people from different backgrounds and organize several meetings with youngsters about obesity and its negative influences on young generation. We are intending to find out the reasons of obesity, the effects on young people’s physic and psychology, and to search the outcomes of obesity on youth which have made a global effect on our age without making any cultural or geographical changes and to get rid of its negative effects and to help the young people be away in a safe training and entertaining way by using of sports and outdoor activities. We hope that it will have influence on local society and people will be interested in our actions.

The exchange will take place at guest house of Cumhuriyet University. The venue is located in the campus area of the public university of Sivas province. The city centre is only 15 minutes away from the campus.

This event will bring together 30 participants from Turkey, Estonia, Croatia, Italy and Romania. The event will be held in English. There are 6 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants (up to 270 euros). There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN SICILY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants residents in Estonia for a Training Course called TC BEST - We are Building Experience, Skills and Tools which will take place in 08th until 14th January 2015 in Nicolosi (Sicily), Italy.

From last decades Europe is facing two phenomenon that is changing all societies from its habits, cultures and background. Together with that change in the identity of the society, young people are facing more than never huge obstacles to enter the job market in an effective and sustainable way. Young people’s experiences of employment are at present, and have been for a decade or so, characterized by precariousness, a hollowing out of opportunity for quality employment, a lengthening yo-yo trajectory in and out of short-term work, unemployment and training or education.

In the same time young people are more open to work with diverse communities and have a huge potential to improve their competences and integrate themselves into a constant dynamic World. That reality opens some questions: How is possible that we have more capable young people and their employment rates continue so low? What are the new competences that can improve young people chance on labor market? How youth creativity can be a major tool for that integration?

The training course is as a module for youth leaders to help them to answer their questions concerning the Creativity to support Employment. We will approach the idea of creativity on different levels and the self-assessment of the new competences that improves the chance of young people in the labour market composed by a huge diversity of cultures, traditions and habit in the European context. We will work on case, examples and Creativity in practice. Together, we will be working on improving their competences and how to motivate young people to use their creativity for a sustainable and desirable work placement.

This event will bring together 34 participants from 17 countries (Italy, Bulgaria, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Croatia, Greece, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, France, Macedonia, Turkey, Romania and Poland). The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants (up to 340 euros). There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN IRELAND - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called Let’s talk about the Unspoken which will take place in 26th until 31st January 2015 in Clare, Ireland.

The aim of the training course is to develop and enhance the ability of youth workers/leaders to recognize and deal with conflict situations that can arise during the life cycle of youth exchanges. The training course is for youth workers/leaders who have implemented youth exchanges and feel the need to improve their understanding and ability to deal with potential conflict that can arise.

The experience of the participants will be the starting point of the activities and we will explore potential conflict situations through theatre, discussions, group work and creative methods.
The training will be very practical and one of the outcomes will be a publication on how to deal with conflict in the life cycle of youth exchanges

This event will bring together 20 participants from 11 countries (Turkey, Croatia, Poland, Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Estonia, Ireland, Moldova, Italy and Georgia). The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants (up to 310 euros). There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN CYRPUS - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called Developing Entrepreneurship through the Improvement of Key Competences” which will take place in 20th until 27th November 2014 in Larnaca, Cyprus.

The project will focus on the needs of social workers, youth workers, youth leaders and youngsters with fewer opportunities (with a low standard of living, disabilities or learning difficulties, socially excluded and/or unemployed) to improve their entrepreneurial skills and their self-esteem, therefore to develop new ideas through non-formal education, transnational mobility, active participation in society/communities, active citizenship and empowerment through positive collaboration.

The chosen methods will be: non formal learning approaches using simulations, role plays, energizers, reflections/debriefing, case studies. Moreover we will implement outdoor activities such as exploring/investigating in order to facilitate the motivation and poster and flash mob making. Moreover we will visit youth centers and places where youths are having time together and cultural and historical places of the area to link to the topic of intercultural unity of the european.

This event will bring together 30 participants from 10 countries (Estonia, Cyprus, Malta, Lithuania, Turkey, France, Spain, Bulgaria, Finland and UK). The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants (up to 335 euros). There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

URGENT - TRAINING IN GERMANY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called Gender: ReThink, Retweetwhich will take place in 22nd until 29th October 2014 in Bad Breisig, Germany.

This training course is designed to address matters related to gender, how it is constructed and how we could use social media to promote gender mainstreaming and to fight gender based discrimination and online hate speech. Other topics we are planning to discuss will be sexuality, identity and human rights and all will be addressed within the training course through very interactive approach based in non-formal education and experiential learning methodology.

The aim of this training course is to provide youth leaders, volunteers and youth workers to get familiar with basic terms used in discussion on gender related issues, gender based discrimination and opportunity to learn about the way media influences gender and different ways to fight discrimination based on gender by using online and offline tools.

This event will bring together 24 participants from Estonia, Albania, Belgium, Germany, Georgia, Italy, Kosovo, Macedonia, Portugal, Spain, Russia, Serbia and Turkey. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

TRAINING IN POLAND - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called Get Active to Get Healthywhich will take place in 05th until 13th November 2014 in Poronin, Poland.

GET ACTIVE TO GET HEALTHY is an international training course for youth workers, facilitators who on daily bases work with youngsters trying to encourage them to take an active way of spending free time with benefits for health. Many of young people working at desk for eight hours a day working in from of the computer and then go home and head for couch to surf the Internet, watching TV or playing computer games.

Research indicates that the amount of leisure time spent sitting in the front of a screen can have such an overwhelming, seemingly irreparable impact on health. We want to offer, exchange and develop tools to encourage youngster to do physical activity which produce much more benefit. Main goal of our project is to promote healthy lifestyle, pro-health prevention and healthy eating. We will try to show alternative options of leisure and changing sedentary activities to active leisure.

During the training people will get to know each other, break stereotype and gain knowledge about national traditions and culture other country. This project will be also a good possibility to development knowledge in new EU program Erasmus + which European Union offered to young people who dream about better self-development and healthy life style.

URGENT - TRAINING IN TURKEY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called Our Rights and Responsibilities as Citizenswhich will take place in 01st until 08th November 2014 in Ankara, Turkey.

The main aim of the project is to increase youth workers’ knowledge, skills and attitudes on citizenship and active citizenship issues. We take care about citizenship and citizenship related issues. We believe that it is one of the key factors for development of societies. Our target groups are youth workers/youth leaders who are interested and motivated to work on citizenship issues and will be able to act as multipliers after the training course.

We have planned to use non formal education methods for our training course. We will have interactive workshops such as role plays, simulations, theatres, presentations, working in small groups as well as field visits and case studies. This course also will be the opportunity to enhance exchange, partnership and co-operation.
