YOUTH EXCHANGE IN TURKEY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!!!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “Reading the Biggest Privilege” which will take place from 21st  until 30^th April 2016 in Sivas, Turkey.

The main aims of this project are gather a group of 32 young people from 5 EU countries, in order to give them opportunity to do something useful for importance of reading habit. We will carry out activities that aim to install and raise awareness in participants about the importance of reading habit as a tool to guide the youth to learning, to support social integration.

We will also show the current situation among youth and will take part in discussions about what can be done to increase the level of reading and love of reading along with the positive and negative effects of ever increasing technological improvements on reading. In addition to these informative sessions, participating youth will have chances to interact with each other in discussions, in awareness raising and book donation campaigns, in actions such as sit-downs to read, and activities to create posters and bookmarks that they will distribute in a ‘let’s read more’ campaign in a well-populated part of the city.

Different and effective non formal learning methods will be used during the project period in order to contribute active learning. Participants will be encouraged taking part actively to all the activities and workshops. There will be collaboration activities between organizations in youth field.  

This event will bring together 32 participants from Turkey, Lithuania, Romania, Estonia and Poland.. The event will be held in English. There are 6 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 30 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 270 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN POLAND - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Involvement LAB – Way to Engage” which will take place in 06^th until 13^th November 2015 in Poronin, Poland.

Project „Involvement LAB - way to engage!“ is training course for youth workers, coaches, animators and young people who want to gain experience in good practices of conducting international youth exchange program within Erasmus +. This training is for everyone who already had ran or has an intention to conduct international youth projects. The basic observation which was the purpose of this project is the fact that the leaders working with project groups are able to raise the level of quality of youth exchanges by finding suitable models to motivate young people to participate actively in design programs in order to continue helping them in gaining new skills and knowledge by meeting each other and getting special training. The main idea of this training is to create a laboratory of competences, which will enable participants to find the proper forms to let youngsters maintain motivation. Our task is to create a working model where the leader is not a teacher or supervisor but plays a leading role as facilitator - equipped with a variety of methods of activating youth.

During workshops we are going to discuss the issues of building youth projects, risk prevention, building a friendly environment and motivation methods. The primary purpose of this training is to improve the quality of youth exchanges organized by non-governmental organizations from the program countries of Erasmus +.

This event will bring together 24 participants from Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Italy, Spain, Croatia, France, Estonia and Poland.. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 35 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros . There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN SERBIA - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Leadership +” which will take place in 21^st until 28^th October 2015 in Divcibare, Serbia.

The project is based on the fact, that group leaders from different NGOs are able to increase the quality of Youth Exchanges through finding appropriate models of motivating youth to actively participate in a process and gain new skills and knowledge. The main idea of the project is to find these forms and methods of motivation, where the leader is not only a teacher or mentor, but he/she plays an active role of a facilitator who knows technology of involving youngsters. Due to previous experience we are sure that in international society group leaders have to grow up, develop suitable systems and use them in their work. Up to them we can see youngsters' attitude towards projects, their interests in Youth Exchanges and increase the quality of Erasmus + programme.

This event will bring together 31 participants from Estonia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Portugal, Albania, Romania, Turkey, Italy, Kosovo and Lithuania. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 30 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 335 euros . There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN IRELAND - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!!!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Let’s Talk About EVS” which will take place in 09^th until 15^th November 2015 in Clare, Ireland.

Aim: The aim of the training course is to develop and enhance the ability of organisations to recognize and deal with conflict situations that can arise during the life cycle of European Voluntary Service (EVS).

The objectives are:

·         To explore effective communication with (potential) volunteers, and between hosting and sending organisations.

·         To identify potential conflict situations in EVS and explore how they can be prevented.

·         To develop competences to prevent and deal with conflicts as they arise.

This event will bring together 24 participants from Turkey, Croatia, Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Finland, Slovenia, Moldova, Italy, Estonia, Ireland and Georgia. The event will be held in English. There is 1 vacancy available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 35 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 310 euros . There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN FINLAND - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “ABC of Citizen of Europe” which will take place in 10^th until 17^th October 2015 in Lapua, Finland.

The term European citizenship has recently become a buzz word. Everyone speaks about it, but no one really knows what does it mean and people keep asking: Is it just about politics? Is European citizenship a V.I.P. club?  Where does it start and end? How can put it to our projects? How can we make it concrete and practical?

ABC is a training course, which was developed as a module for youth workers/trainers to help them to answer their questions concerning the (European) citizenship issues. We will approach the idea of citizenship on three different levels: locally, nationally and in the European context. We will work on case, examples and Europe in practice. Together, we will be working on improving the methods on how to motivate youngsters for participation in their community and beyond.

ABC is a training course that aims to support the professional development of young trainers and to raise the quality of their projects concerning (European) citizenship.

This event will bring together 25 participants from Estonia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Poland, Greece, Hungary, Romania and Spain. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 30 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 180 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN POLAND - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Practice Makes Perfect” which will take place in 26^th October until 1^st November 2015 in Zowoja, Poland.

Nowadays, the education of young people on the applicability of entrepreneurial fields is highly necessary especially for new venture creation. The development of new small businesses, which most of the times are accompanied by an entrepreneurial spirit, does not only empower the economic situation through the creation of new jobs, but it also provides a pathway for business owners—particularly minorities, immigrants and the economically disadvantaged groups and individuals – to join the middle class. Moreover, in the current economic environment, entrepreneurship constitutes the best opportunity for many unemployed citizens to recover by starting a business, thus being self-employed.

Entrepreneurial experiences – such as making mistakes, trying a concept, developing ideas, actually building, managing, and growing organizations, raising real funds, failing, trying again, building intellectual capital and managing it, and translating intellectual value into economic and social value – should be the acid test in being able to develop an educated opinion about entrepreneurship. Therefore, by converting all these real examples into practical activities, the trainers and the experts on entrepreneurial fields will attempt to attract the attention and the imagination of participants and provide them with all the essential tools for taking conscious decisions based on realistic economic and social conditions.

This event will bring together 24 participants from Poland, Cyprus, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Italy, Greece and Romania. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

TRAINING TO SICILY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!!!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “MIGRATION HIGHWAYS: Everlasting Phenomena” which will take place in 09^th until 16^th September 2015 in Nicolosi - Sicily, Italy.

MIGRATION HIGWAYS: Everlasting Phenomena" is a training course designed to meet the challenges and opportunities related to migration and to international mobility in Europe. It will analyze causes and effects of migration, mentioning the different components that motivate young people to emigrate. The title itself describes various aspects of migration that we will discuss (the major roads, the highways): analyzing  causes and effects of brain drain, labor, study and experience migration, migration driven by poverty and injury of fundamental and social rights, and through a structured program of activities based on Non Formal Education, this TC aims to develop in participants methods and resources to work closely with international migration and mobility in Europe, and what these phenomena entail locally.

Solidarity, tolerance and integration are fundamental values that this TC will promote. Activities will focus on the principles of intercultural dialogue and social inclusion, in both European and global perspective. The TC aims to equip participants with tools to spread these values among young people, to contribute to the promotion of a more open, tolerant environment which offers the same opportunities to everyone. The course will help to improve the skills and abilities of young people, including those with fewer opportunities, improving the quality of youth work, social inclusion, base and cross skills of youth workers, intercultural awareness, linguistic and cultural diversity and to increase cooperation and capacity building of NGOs.The TC will develop, therefore, the skills of the participants in the work with migration and mobility, promoting debates and actions on European citizenship and the universal character of the EU's fundamental values, such as democracy, the rule of law and human rights and their potential to alleviate the difficulties of migration, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and integration of migrants in Europe.

This event will bring together 36 participants from Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Turkey and Italy. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 30 years old.
