Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call
for participants for a Youth Exchange called “Filografi - Calligraphy and painting with wire and
nail” which will
take place in 08th
until 15th April 2013 in Mus, Turkey.
Filografi
is a handcraft. It was born in Middle East, than became popular all over the
world. A person devoted to
studying and producing written works. The word, "philographer,"
literally means "lover of writing/written works."
Participants will have
different workshops in philographic and will discuss among the countries about
traditions and many arts that are disappearing with time. European countries
call it '' String art'' or '' Owl String Art''.
During the programme, the participants
will have intercultural workshops using different philographic as a tool for
learning among different countries and cultures.
This
Exchange will bring together 30 participants from all around Europe. The exchange
will be held in English. There are 5
vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18
years old.
The
Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and
activities and will we buy the tickets and the participants has to contribute with 30% of the travel
costs. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
