Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants
for a Youth Exchange called “INterACTION” which will take place in 13th until 22nd July 2013
in Coimbra, Portugal.
The
activities are planned according to the goals of this project which are, raise
awareness among citizens for their right to live freely in other countries of
the EU; raise awareness on the benefits of the politics and rights of the EU;
stimulate active participation in the process of creation of the EU’s
policies; create solidarity between citizens from different countries,
backgrounds and experiences and promote tolerance among citizens; foster social
cohesion in the European Union; foster mutual understanding through alternative
ways of communication; stimulate debating on the impacts on the right of free
circulation and it’s potentials;
“InterACTION”
means reciprocal action, effect, or influence. As the name suggests, we will
base our work on this concept, communicating, influencing one another, sharing,
developing minds and attitudes. We will be working on these themes, with the
participants and the local community, with non-formal education practices and
techniques, energizers, team building exercises, brainstorming, debates,
intercultural activities, and reflection groups, among others. In order to this
to happen we patronize the exchange of ideas and creativity, stimulating the
development of personal and group competences. To understand if the goals are
being achieved, there will be daily evaluations performed by reflection mixed
groups, where the participants self-evaluate about the skills and competences
gained.
The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
