TRAINING IN IRELAND - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!!!

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Be YOURSELF – Pride for Youth” which will take place from 08^th until 15th December 2016 in Shannon, Ireland.

The training course will be for youth organisations that want to support their LGBT* young people. It will provide an opportunity to explore deeper the participation of LGBT* young people in Europe, find project partners and improve LGBT* young people´s participation at local and international level. Organisations should be willing and able to implement Erasmus+ projects.

The objectives of the project are:

• To learn about the issues and challenges LGBT* young people face in their daily life

• To share knowledge, skills and experiences of LGBT* organisations already working on the ground with organisations new to this issue

• To explore new approaches in inclusive practices in relation to LGBT* issues

• To explore how to expand awareness about LGBT* among young people in own locality

• To share and implement this learning with their projects upon their return to their home country

• To plan and develop concrete Erasmus+ actions supporting LGBT* young people

The issues and needs we are seeking to address through this project are:

• Creating a deeper understanding of the challenges and obstacles for LGBT* young people.

• Exploring how discrimination impacts on the young people and ways to overcome this discrimination.

• Understanding the LGBT* reality of the partners involved in the project

• Giving a voice and support to many unheard young LGBT* people who struggle with their identity in a heterosexual society and to help prevent fear isolation and discrimination (through building and sharing skills/attitudes/knowledge)

• to equip youth organisations with the skills/attitudes/knowledge of how to become

LGBT* inclusive

This event will bring together 27 participants from Belarus, Romania, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine, Ireland, Italy, Estonia, Russia, Netherlands and Armenia. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Leader's Journey” which will take place from 09^th until 16^th November 2016 in Clare, Ireland.

The main aim is to develop the competences of youth workers to engage and empower them to take up leadership positions and to equip them with tools to lead a youth organisation.

Our Objectives:

• To identify the role of youth work in our societies and to understand the importance of youth workers within it

• To provide participants with different tools to develop skills and competencies in organizational management

• To introduce effective communication, leadership and team-work techniques

• To develop competences to implement tools, non-formal and informal educational methods of decision making and strategic thinking

• To improve knowledge about Erasmus+ Programme as a tool for enhancing the international dimension of youth work through capacity building activities

This event will bring together 24 participants from Turkey, Hungary, Estonia, Croatia, Spain, Italy, Georgia, Armenia, Ireland, Portugal and Morocco, UK and Czech Republic. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 310 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING COURSE IN PORTUGAL - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Leadership +” which will take place from 03^rd until 10^th November 2016 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Project “Leadership +“ is based on the fact, that group leaders from different NGO are able to increase the quality of Youth Exchanges through finding appropriate models of motivating young to active participate there and gain new skills and knowledge.

The main idea is through the laboratory to find this form of motivating where leader is not a teacher or mentor, where leader plays role as a facilitator who knows technology of involvement youngsters.

It Aims to improve quality of Youth Exchanges by providing space for YE group leaders to develop their competences, focusing on motivation and learning support.

This event will bring together 34 participants from Italy, Estonia, Greece, Slovenia, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania, France, Poland and Turkey. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 530 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN SICILY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a LTTC Training Course called “Social Media to Activate Youth and Communities” which will take place from 05^th until 12^th October 2016 in Nicolosi - Sicily, Italy.

Social Media to Activate Youth and Communities is a training course based in part on non-formal and in part on the principles of hands-on learning and transfer of skills, however according to non-formal technics. Nowadays, it is vital for young people and civil society youth organizations to grasp the work of social media, not only because they are tools of free promotion of one’s activities and projects, but also because they are now the most powerful tools that activate communities behind a cause.

The course will present to the participants the basics of communication, public speaking, influence, persuasion and rhetoric and how this applies to social media and how messages and values are transmitted to the public and audience. The TC will consider the sociology and psychology of mass communication, as well as analyze the most recent existing movements that have made extensive use of social media, which have proved to be essential for their success.

The most important part of the TC includes strong elements of practice and hands-on transfer of knowledge, in which everything that has been learned during the sessions can be put into practice through the development of a media strategy and its implementation under the support and the coaching of the international trainers. In fact, the training course is aimed at youth workers, young activists, members of youth organizations who may face difficulties in promoting their work and values ​​among the general public and audience and to who wants to gain more knowledge of the issues considered.

This event will bring together 32 participants from Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Spain and Turkey. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 360 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
