SEMINAR IN SICILY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Seminar called “Youth Policies – Good Experiences to Compare” which will take place in 02^nd to 06^th June 2014 in Palermo (Sicily), Italy.

The project proposed is an international seminar aimed to exchange of best practices in the field of youth policies at local, regional, national or European levels.

The seminar will held in June 2014 and the duration will be of three days (excluding travel) and it will regard the focusing of specific themes through the exposure and the sharing of good practice relating to the following topics:

-promotion of healthy behaviors implemented by outdoor and sports activities;

-initiatives to enhance youth employment through training activities;

-spreading among young people of the spirit of initiative, entrepreneurship and self-employment;

-supporting the social inclusion of young people.

In addition to plenary moments during which each partner will present their experience identified as "good practice", it will be provided specific sessions for each theme identified by workshops and activities "face to face" aimed at deepening the individual good practices and the creation of new partnerships. The heterogeneity of partners involved from the point of geographical origin, cultural and social baggage and experienced brought, as well as the diversity of contents and methods of practice presented will represent added values and specific aspects of enriching of the our seminar.

The event will be held in English. There are 4 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old. The event will gather 40 participants from Italy, Turkey, Romania, Estonia, Lithuania, Spain, Greece, Slovakia and Malta.

The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
